Ty's Nursery

Ty's room is my favorite room in the house! It is so bright and cheerful - a perfect fit for my  little man! The "Baby Whale" theme & color pallet began with the sheets that I picked out at pottery barn and then I added one thing at a time. I didn't want it to have that whole "nursery set" look. When Ty was born, we were living in a rented house (and I couldn't paint), so when we finally moved into our house when Ty was 4 mos old, I was ecstatic to finally be able to paint! Yes, its bright green, but its just paint! I love the fact that there are so many hand-made pieces!
The striped wall was a successful pinterest project thanks to my husband! :)  The "T"Y" letters are simply the cheap cardboard letters from Hobby Lobby, painted green and "3M stickied" to the wall!
I found this Rug at RugsUSA.com. Love it!
The Ribbon Wreath on the door was made by a sweet friend, Celeste, when Ty was born.
"FIRST WE HAD EACH OTHER, THEN WE HAD YOU, NOW WE HAVE EVERYTHING" Prints from Etsy
"ABC" Canvas hand-painted by my husband & myself!
My favorite piece of the nursery is the mobile.... made by me with help from my friend,  Susan and her  Cricket!
